Review cards for Elementor with star ratings, names and photos — client feedback laid out to be read, not skimmed past.

It's one of the best plug-ins I have ever used. It's very easy to use and gives you an ability to create any layout you want. It's perfect for my site! I love it.

Every dish carries its own score

A rating beside each plate turns a menu into evidence. Diners read the score first, the sentence second, and book the table third.

The pacing is what we will remember. Nothing arrived cold, nothing arrived late, and the kitchen swapped a course the moment I mentioned shellfish.

Tomas B.

Set lunch | midweek
4/5
Good food, tight room. We were seated near the pass and it got loud around eight. Worth it for the short rib, but ask for a table by the window.

Amara K.

Private dining | party of nine
5/5
Nine people, one bill, zero fuss. They took the dietary notes at booking and every plate came out already right. Nobody had to explain themselves at the table.

House filter blend, 500g

Whole bean, roasted to order, shipped within two days.

Third bag this year. It grinds evenly, it does not go flat by day ten, and the roast date is printed on the bag rather than hidden on the invoice.

Roast is excellent. Delivery slipped by a day over the holidays and nobody told me, which is the only reason this is not a five.

Frame respray
10/10
Dropped off a chipped frame on Tuesday and picked it up Friday looking better than the day I bought it. Every stage was photographed and sent through before I paid.

Callum R.

Wheel rebuild
9/10
The rebuild was spot on and the wheel has stayed true through a wet winter. One point off because the quote came in a day later than promised.

Yusuf A.

Full service
8/10
Solid work at a fair price. The shop is busy so booking takes a week or two. Plan ahead and you will be fine.
Rooms and stays

Three stays, three honest scores

Marta K.

Two nights | sea-facing room
5/5
Booked late and still got the room in the photos. Breakfast is small and good, and the coffee beats the place next door.

Daniel O.

One night | work trip
4/5
Quiet, clean and two minutes from the station. Thin walls on the courtyard side, so ask for the front if you sleep lightly.

Hui-Ling C.

Five nights | family room

They moved us to a bigger room when the cot did not fit and did not charge for it. That is the whole review, really.

The dimmer holds its lowest setting without flickering, which the last two lamps I bought did not. The arm stays put over a keyboard tray at full extension, which is the whole reason I replaced them.

Light quality is exactly as described and the base is heavy enough that it does not creep across the desk. One star off because the cable is 1.4 m and mine needed two to reach the socket behind the shelf.

Bright and even across an A2 sheet. The touch strip is the problem: brushing past it while reaching for a mug changes the level. Support offered a replacement head within a day, which I have not needed yet.

Booked online on the Tuesday and was seen on the Thursday. The hygienist put the X-ray on the screen and talked through it before touching anything, and the quote for the filling arrived by email the same afternoon.

Rang at ten past nine on a Saturday with a cracked molar and was in the chair before eleven. The only mark against it is the waiting room has two chairs, so I stood for twenty minutes with a coat on.

Reviews that name the plan, the seat count and the month

A five-star line from an anonymous account proves nothing. These three say how big the team is, what they pay for and how long they have been on it — which is what a buyer is actually comparing.

We moved forty-two people off a shared inbox over one weekend. The import kept every thread intact, and the two routing rules we could not recreate were rebuilt by their team on the Monday morning.

Reporting is why we stayed: first-response time broken down by queue, exportable, no add-on. The mobile app is the weak part — notifications land late enough that we still keep the desktop tab open.

Two price rises in two years, both announced ninety days ahead with the old rate held until renewal. For a six-person team that predictability is worth more than anything on the roadmap.

Every score on this wall is tied to a paid seat that the reviewer confirmed before the form would submit.

Scaffold went up on the Monday, tiles and felt were off and replaced by the Thursday, and they swept the drive every evening because we have a toddler on a bike. Nine and not ten because the skip sat on the verge two days past the date we agreed and I had to ring twice about it.

Same timber, same forty hours, two different scores

Two scores are only comparable when the test behind them is identical. Both machines below were run on the same oak, by the same pair of hands, for the same logged hours — so the gap between eight and seven means something.

The 1.5 kW belt sander

76 × 533 mm belt · 4.2 kg · 32 mm dust port

Marcus L.
Bench test · 40 hours logged
8/10
Took two millimetres off a run of oak in four passes without bogging down, and the dust port genuinely fits a 32 mm hose rather than nearly fitting it. Marked down for the tracking knob, which drifts and wants a quarter turn every twenty minutes.

The 900 W random-orbit sander

125 mm pad · 1.3 kg · 4,000 to 11,000 orbits a minute

Ilse V.
Bench test · 40 hours logged
7/10
Far kinder on the wrists across a full day of finishing, and the pad brake stops it skating when you set it down mid-cut. It will not touch a glue line, though — everything below 120 grit took roughly twice as long as the belt machine.

Verdict. The belt machine for stock removal, the orbital for the last three grits. Neither score is a recommendation on its own — the pair of them is.

4.7 in the store, and the release that earned it

Store ratings move with every build. Showing the score beside the version it belongs to — and answering the one-star in public — is what stops an old complaint reading as a current one.

The new tab bar buried the scanner two taps deeper and I use it about forty times a shift. Everything else about the release is fine, but that one change costs me real minutes every day.
Developer response · 3 days later

The scanner is back on the main bar in 4.2.1, with a toggle under Settings so anyone who prefers the new layout can keep it. The shift count in your review is what moved it up the list — thank you for putting a number on it.

Three firms quoted. One of them itemised the carcasses separately and was the only one to put the ten-day slip in writing before it happened rather than after. I scored them once the snagging list was cleared, not on the day they drove off.

They quoted in writing, started on the day they said, and the only change to the price was the one I asked for. I have hired a lot of trades. This is what good looks like.

Review

Straight answers about what this one does, where it fits in a real build, and what it costs you to ship.

Still stuck?

Read the documentation for this one, or write to us — a human answers inside a business day.

What is the Review widget for in Elementor?

Placing one customer review exactly where it needs to go. The Review widget in Sky Addons for Elementor holds a single photo, name, designation, review text and star rating, so you can set one strong quote beside a pricing table or a product image instead of committing to a whole slider.

Does one Review widget hold several reviews?

No — one per widget, by design. Each Review widget is a single card you place and style on its own, which suits a hand-built row of two or three. When you want a list managed in one place, Sky Addons’ Review Carousel uses a repeater instead.

Can I show a rating out of ten?

Yes. Rating Scale offers 5 or 10 and the Rating field takes the score, so a seven renders as seven marked icons out of ten. Marked and unmarked icons carry separate colours, and the unmarked ones can be drawn as outlines rather than filled shapes.

Can I change the star icon?

Yes — the Icon control switches between a Font Awesome star and a Unicode star character. Sky Addons also exposes icon size, spacing between icons, and a background, padding, border and radius on the rating block itself, so the score can sit inside its own pill or badge.

Where does the review text sit relative to the stars?

Wherever you place it. Review Position switches the text between Before Rating and After Rating, defaulting to after, and an Alignment control sets the card left, centre or right. Those two together produce a stars-first card and a quote-first card from identical content.

Is this a Google review importer?

No. The Review widget displays a review you write in yourself, giving you full control of the wording, the photo and the score. Sky Addons’ Google Reviews widget is the one that fetches live reviews from a Google Business listing through the Places API — this widget is deliberately manual.

Does the Review widget need Elementor Pro?

No, and no paid Sky Addons licence either. The Review widget is part of the free Sky Addons for Elementor plugin and runs on a free Elementor install — rating rendering, icon choice, image handling and every style control are included without an upgrade.

How is a review different from a testimonial here?

A score. Sky Addons’ Review widget carries a rating with a scale and star icons, while the Testimonial widget has no rating field at all and is built purely around the quote, the person and their role. Pick Review when the number is part of the message, Testimonial when the words are.

Can I show a review without a photo?

Yes — leave the image empty and the card renders as text alone. Name, designation and the review body are separate fields, so you can drop the job title too and run just a name and a score. The image uses WordPress’s own registered thumbnail sizes rather than one fixed crop.

Does the rating appear in the page markup for search engines?

Yes, as microdata. Sky Addons wraps the stars in schema.org Rating markup and writes the numeric score into a visually hidden element, so the value is readable by a crawler as well as visible as icons. It describes the rating only, not a complete review record, so treat it as sound markup rather than a promise of star snippets.
