Slider pagination for Elementor placed anywhere on the page — dots or numbers that drive a carousel from outside it.
With Remote Pagination, you can give your readers the best of both worlds with layouts that are both beautiful and scalable. You don’t need to know any coding – just drag, drop, and design!
We care about your creativity and productivity. That’s why we created the Remote Pagination widget for Elementor, an easy-to-use plugin that allows you to turn your pagination into a creative design, without needing any coding skills.

Replacing a slider row of dots with something designed — numbers, words or short labels — and placing it wherever the layout wants it. Remote Pagination is a Sky Addons for Elementor widget that drives an existing carousel from outside it rather than shipping a slider of its own.
Give the slider a CSS ID on its Advanced tab and type that ID, without the hash, into the Remote ID field. Each pagination item then carries its slide index, and clicking one tells that slider to go to the matching slide.
No — and you should usually fill it in. Automatic detection only searches the classic Elementor section the widget sits in, so a slider built inside a flexbox container will not be found that way. Naming the ID makes the pairing explicit and survives any later restructuring.
No. The Item List is a repeater you fill in yourself, one row per slide, which is what lets an item read 01, Spring or Chapter Two instead of a dot. It also means the list has to be kept in step: five rows against six slides leaves the sixth unreachable.
The Slider Loop On? switch does not match the slider. A looping Swiper duplicates slides at both ends, so the widget has to address them differently — set this switch to match the target Loop setting and item three lands on slide three again.
Yes. The binding is two-way: clicking an item moves the slider, and the slider moving under autoplay, a drag or its own arrows moves the highlight. The active item has its own colour and border colour, separate from the hover state.
Yes — Show Arrows adds a previous and next control to the same row, with your own icons, so one widget can be the slider entire control cluster. The arrows drive the same target as the numbers, with no extra setup.
Yes. Layout offers a row, a column or a reversed column, alignment covers left, centre, right, space-between and space-around, and an offset popover moves the whole set on both axes. The items can also be rotated, which is how a vertical numbered rail is usually built.
It drives any slider running on Swiper, the library behind most Elementor carousels. If the target uses a different slider library there is no instance for the widget to talk to, and in the Elementor editor a notice says so rather than failing silently.
No Elementor Pro licence is needed; the widget is part of Sky Addons Pro for Elementor. Switch the target slider own pagination off once this one is wired up, or the page ends up with two sets of controls for the same carousel.
