INTRODUCING

Instagram Feed Carousel

Your Instagram feed as a carousel in Elementor — recent posts pulled in automatically and styled to fit your design.

@WOWDEVS · ON A LOOP

A year of releases, offers and Eid mornings.

wowDevs makes Sky Addons for Elementor and the Ultimate Spin Wheel. Everything we announce goes to Instagram first — and this strip keeps it moving.

LATEST

The last eight posts, without leaving the page.

Drag it, or let it sit. Either way the newest announcement is the first card, and every card opens the post it came from.

IN OUR OWN WORDS

Every launch, written the day it went out.

The caption that shipped with the post, unedited — the discount, the version number, the reason we built the thing. Nothing rewritten for a landing page.

THE WALL

Twenty posts deep, and it keeps going.

Product shots, holiday cards, a sponsor badge and a launch day — side by side, because that is honestly what a year looks like from inside a small studio.

ON REPEAT
THIS QUARTER

The last few weeks, one card at a time.

Slow enough to read, close enough to tap. The centre card is the one we would show you first.

OUT IN THE OPEN

WordCamp Dhaka, then Product Hunt.

Two weeks in late 2025 that we still get messages about: a micro sponsor badge at WordCamp Dhaka, and Sky Addons going live to the makers on Product Hunt.

OFFERS

The coupon lives in the first comment.

Instagram strips links out of captions, so every offer post carries the code in the caption and the link underneath it. Read the card, then tap through.

STORIES

One tap and you are in the feed.

Every card here opens the post it came from. Follow the account and the next release lands in your feed instead of your inbox.

What do I need to show my Instagram feed in Elementor?

An Instagram access token. Sky Addons for Elementor offers two connection modes: Instagram Login, which uses a long-lived token from Instagram Business Login and needs no Facebook app, or Facebook Page, which reads an Instagram Business account linked to your Page. The token is stored under Sky Addons → Settings → API or on the widget itself.

Do I have to link Instagram to a Facebook page?

Not with the default connection. Instagram Login talks to Instagram’s own Graph host using a token generated in your Meta app’s access-token panel, with no Facebook Page involved at all. The Facebook Page mode exists for accounts already linked that way, where Sky Addons resolves the linked Instagram Business account from your Page ID.

Does the Instagram token expire, and what happens then?

Long-lived Instagram tokens are time-limited, so Sky Addons runs a daily job that refreshes the stored token automatically once it is within 10 days of expiring. If a token does lapse, the carousel renders nothing on the front end and the reason is shown only inside the Elementor editor.

How often does the Instagram feed refresh?

Caching is on by default and refreshes on the interval you choose — 30 minutes, 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 hours, or 7 days, with 12 hours as the default. Between refreshes every visitor is served the stored copy, so a busy page never multiplies your Instagram API calls.

Are the images served from Instagram or from my site?

From your site. Instagram’s CDN links expire, so with caching on Sky Addons downloads each post’s image into a cache folder in your uploads directory and serves it from your own domain. That is precisely why the photos keep working after Instagram rotates its URLs — a common cause of broken third-party feeds.

Does the carousel show Reels and video posts?

Yes. Sky Addons requests each item’s media type, so images, videos and carousel albums all come through — a video uses its Instagram thumbnail as the poster frame and an album is represented by its first child item. Like and comment counts are requested at the same time, so they can be shown on the card.

How many Instagram posts can the carousel pull?

Up to 50. Number of Posts accepts 1 to 50 and defaults to 6, while Sky Addons fetches and caches up to 50 media items per account in one request. The cache is keyed to the account, so several widgets showing the same Instagram account share a single stored copy.

How many posts are visible, and does it autoplay?

Columns run from one to five, set per breakpoint, with three as the default, and autoplay is on out of the box. Sky Addons’ Instagram Feed Carousel can also show the account’s profile picture and username above the track, taken from the same API response rather than uploaded by hand.

Do I need Elementor Pro or a separate Instagram plugin?

Neither. The Instagram Feed Carousel is a Sky Addons Pro widget running on free Elementor, and the API connection, caching, local image copies and every style control are handled inside the plugin. No companion feed plugin and no third-party relay service sits between your site and Instagram.

Can it display a personal Instagram account?

No. Sky Addons requests the Instagram Business Basic permission scope, so the account has to be an Instagram Business or Creator account — a personal account cannot issue a token the widget can use. Converting an account is done inside Instagram’s own settings, not in the plugin.
